Babassu oil is extracted from the Brazilian palm tree. It is a creamy white oil rich in fatty acids like lauric and myristic acids. While similar, it is lighter than coconut oil. Babassu oil is one of the best emollients for all skin types. It smoothes dry and flaky skin and makes it lustrous and healthy. It is very absorbent but does not leave an oily sheen. Babassu oil is a deep hair conditioner as well. It contains Vitamin E and makes nails and cuticles much stronger. This product is organic.
