Palm Kernel Oil is derived from the seed of the palm fruit. It is more saturated than palm oil. Palm kernel oil is rich in lauric and myristic fatty acids. This gives the oil antibiotic qualities and enhances the absorption of the oil into the skin and hair. Similar to coconut oil, large amounts of short chain lauric acid strengthens weak hair and makes it shiny. Palm kernel oil is used in soap making as a base oil. It remains stable at high cooking temperatures. This product is RBD and organic.
