CG-G 940 (carbomer 940) is a thickening agent for aqueous solutions that are pseudoplastic and non-thixotropic, and is equivalent to Carbopol 940. CG-G 940 has a high yield value so it is an effective agent for emulsion stabilization and stable suspension of solid particles.
