CG-G 980 (carbomer 980) is an efficient thickener and suspension agent characterized by very high clarity especially in hydroalcoholic solutions, equivalent to Carbopol 980. It can be dispersed in water and neutralized with an appropriate base such as sodium hydroxide (NaOH) or Triethanolamin (TEA), and a clear gel is formed. CG-G 980 is easy to disperse and wet, and is generally appreciated for the excellent performance in cosmetic formulations. It is predominantly used in hand sanitizers, lotions, creams, serums, and  shampoo.
