CG-C PQ37 PG (equiv. Salcare SC96)
CG-C PQ37 PG is a ready-to-use liquid form thickener that is used to thicken cationic aqueous solutions or hydroalcoholic solutions and to stabilize O/W emulsions, and is equivalent to Salcare SC96. CG-C PQ37 PG is used in skin care and hair care formulations, making them smooth with a non-greasy and non-sticky afterfeel. It makes the rub-in and spread ability of highly thick creams easier and more uniform. It can be formulated with other conditioning agents.
Benefits of its Cationic Nature:
The cationic nature of the polymer provides affinity for the skin and enhances the waterproofing ability of the cosmetic formulation. It also provides a conditioning effect (creates a film that coats the hair fiber). The polymer swells immediately in water at room temperature without any neutralization.
